I watched the first episode of Aamir’s Satyamev Jayate on female feticide. I was moved as much as the audience. I am sure all those who watched must have equally felt it. Great production. The format was very effective . Bringing real mothers from varying backgrounds  who fought bravely to save their  girl child apart from providing authenticity to the social problem also sent a message to fight back wherever you are. One  could see doctors, lawyers, investigative journalists, activists all fighting for the cause of the girl child and to put  an end to this mindless killing of female fetus.

Authentic Statistics, charts on skewed sex ratio, and the impending horrifying sufferings of girls and women in various strata of Indian society after six decades of free India was real eye opener. The call for attitudinal change from every Indian  from Aamir and the fast track court punishment  to the perpetrators of the killings of the innocent was loud , clear and touched the chord.

The anchor format was great. Vested, Propaganda and glossing over TV journalists who  we very often see anchoring a show on important issue and raising the empty cacophony , will have to learn  many a lesson  from Aamir   as to what it takes  to focus on truth for  a real change on social and political issues that is corroding Indian Society. All the youth of this country must watch this truth show .

Congrats Aamir once again. All the best. Dil Pe Lagi. Ab Baat Banegi. Satyamev Jayate !
