Minister of state for PMO called Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi ,Team Anna members as anti- national. The minister’s outburst is farfetched and the Congress is desperate to belittle the efforts of Team Anna’s  fight against corruption through legitimate democratic means. Such diversionary tactics of the Congress will no more be appreciated by the nation. Will the minister be able to give instances of anti -national activities of these members of Team Anna. Just by giving examples of Bedi’s inflated travel  bills issue is not going to help divert the issue of corrupt government led by Congress which is bogged by scams after scams of humungous proportion, The travel bills issue of Kiran Bedi is an issue between private parties. It doesn’t involve misappropriation of public funds or natural resources. Such misappropriation of public funds as in CWG scam or selling natural resources of country for a song as in the 2G spectrum case are  against the interests of the nation hence anti-national in the true sense. The ministers under the present PM’s leadership are caught for these anti[national activities  and now the PM himself in the coal allocations is bogged down by allegations of  criminal misappropriation in the draft report of CAG. Minister Narayanaswamy should first put the Congress house in order and deliver what the nation urgently needs like a strong Lokpal Bill and not try to  escape the realities facing the nation under UPA 2 governance ,through obscurantist and  propagandist tactics against Team Anna members.

Even Arvind Kejriwal’s return of salary issue  to the Tax department is blown out of proportion by the minister. It’s again a dispute on the basis of interpretation of service rules which will be settled by the appropriate authorities responsible for fair judgement, There is no criminal motive involved here too to misappropriate public funds or loot the nation’s resources . The minister cannot succeed through  obfuscation.

Minister Narayana Swamy also states that baseless allegations against public servants are responsible for slow decision making among those in the Executive resulting in policy paralysis. This is ridiculous. If Congress cannot delver on its promises of corruption free government , healthy growth , Swiss Stash and black money issues, the failure lies in the Congress party and the government it leads. The government with all its  vested power is making a laughing stock of itself when it  claims that policy paralysis is due to  anti corruption protestors.

The truth is fiscal profligacy  through PM’s policies  for myopic political gains has left with no resources for legitimate asset building . This has stifled growth and  development. Pumping too much of money in the wrong sector has created inflation and the government is searching and groping in the dark to douse these flames without much success. Scams and Corruption  in the present government have  only added fuel to the fire. Hence minister, don’t blame Team Anna for the government’s failure, divert and trivialize issues. You are in the government. If You can’t deliver call it a day. Blame game will not work. People have become demanding  on promises by the political class in our democracy. And that is surely not  an anti- national activity, Minister.
