Illegal hoardings put up by the politicians have become an eyesore. The defiance is only intensifying. Last week the new Mayor of Mumbai said every party is putting up these hoardings illegally. The law-keepers and the police must set an example. Like the illegal and nuisance causing horns that were collected and crushed beneath a road roller by the police in Nasik, the illegal hoardings in cities and for that matter everywhere in the country must be collected by the police and crushed under road rollers in an open ground and in full view of the public. This will bring some sense to the law-breakers and Mumbai and other cities can be spared of these irritants!
