President of US Barack Obama thundered with his oratory skill and charmed his way through out his visit  to  India. Here’s a different take by a concerned citizen.

BO: India is not rising . India has risen. India is not emerging. India has emerged.

CC : Sorry  Mr President. Out there  in India , 80Cr are still living  at  below $2 per day earning. Middle class housing is still not affordable. Wages are at subsistence level.Millions are struggling to rise & emerge.So you see, we are rising ,not risen yet.

BO: India and US are equal partners.

CC: Sorry President. Our 5 star hotel hospitality and some airport ambiance may equal yours but our per capita income is $1000 against your $ 40000.So President ,its a long way before we equal you.

BO: Other countries should learn from you. 1000 political parties. Tens of thousands of candidates. Free and fair elections here.

CC: Sorry President. Our EVMs are accused to be doing the trick. ECs are reported to be biased. Results are altered to suit the vested.I am sure you wont like other democracies to learn these, being a Gandhian.

BO: We stand shoulder to shoulder in resolving vexing issues.

CC: Sorry President. When US citizens were found stashing billions of dollars in Swiss Banks you prevented this criminal act; punished the guilty even with imprisonment. Our leaders including your Guru Dr Singh are no match as yet. Your governing class stands so tall on this issue. Our governing class’s shoulder squats so short on this.

BO: To the students here, I say , you are the  hope of this country. You can solve the problems .

CC: Sorry President.  Our Young Generation is suffering the burdens of high tax& low wage.Unless leaders of your stature act effectively to close the tax havens and return the stolen wealth of  these nations, young generation will tire themselves out  before they solve the  problems created by the earlier generation.

BO: Pakistan has enormous possibilities . Prosperous Pak is necessary for regional stability.

CC: Yes and No president. Unless you ensure Pakistan is Shoulder to Shoulder in snuffing out the terror outfits supported by Pak ,the enormous possibilities will be realised at the wrong end.Unless you ensure  your fundings build more factories, farms and offices in Pak the hands that trigger terror in Pak will only get strengthened. Prosperity and stability will ever remain an empty hope even as the innocents continue to pay by their lives.

BO: I cannot impose solutions on you. You have to solve the problems by yourselves.

CC: Thank You Mr President! At last you have told the truth!
