The Adharsh Soceity has thoroughly exposed CM Ashok Chavan ‘s abuse of authority along with former Congress men.The CM was trapped right left & center. Seeing no escape route CM Ashok Chavan rushed to Delhi to meet the Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi. When he addressed the media he is on record saying that he has submitted his resignation to  Sonia Gandhi and now the final decision lies with her.

The question is should the CM of a state rush to submit his resignation to the party head . Is this act in consonance with  our constitutional propriety. If the State Chief minister wanted to resign the right place to submit his resignation is the Governors Office who is the executive head of the State. Time again the congress CMs  rush to the party head for the  so called high command’s decision. Is this not disrespecting the Constitutional mechanism . Elected representatives who occupy the highest chair are  also under oath of the Constitution . Even Sonia Gandhi is under the allegiance oath . Thus all those who aid in the present process may  be committing  an impropriety under our Constitution. Practical politics should be not at the cost  of disregarding the constitutional  mechanism.
