A poem on the eve of reform bill passage
SWAPS & SWANS
In pursuit of happiness
We wall street bankers sold lies couched in swaps ,
And these morphed mercilessly to winged crises of Black Swans
Spreading miseries across the shores and profits galore to us
And when Barrack Obama says no more swaps but reforms
We say not so soon not so soon!
Let’s be in the game of, black swans for many and profits for us few!
Nay reform, no reform; swaps and more swaps please.
We are in pursuit of happiness
We are Wall Street Bankers minting at ease!
